In 2018, aged 2, Benedict first visited the garden railway at Ramsey Mereside called Fenland Light Railway. The magical little place brought to life a little boys dreams, and over the next few years he visited frequently.

The Fenland Light Railway is a 7 ¼ inch gauge Narrow Gauge Railway, and alongside riding in the little carriages he loved to watch the model trains on a purpose built track.

When Benedict died in 2021, his family raised £11,000 which was donated to Fenland Light Railway. This donation allowed them to buy the land the railway stood on and ensured the long-term future of the railway so that it could be enjoyed by children for years to come.
